Crested, rearing serpent Ladon guarding the sacred apple tree producing the golden fruits of immortality in the Garden of the Hesperides, attacked by Heracles (Hercules) wearing lion skin and swinging his club (The Eleventh Labour); rearing centaur (Nessus, Chiron, or Pholus (?), all eventual victims of the Heracles' arrows poisoned with the Hydra's blood (The Second Labour)); Heracles (Hercules) wrestling with half-giant Antaeus, mitigating his invincibility by disconnecting him from his mother, Gaia (The Earth), holding him aloft, and crushing him in a bear hug (partially shown).
