Figure EAA-chi-053. Four antlered, bearded, maned, crested, quadrupede, five-clawed long (?) dragons supporting a celestial sphere and surrounded by four stylized rock formations. The Gu Guanxiangtai (Astronomical Observatory) was built in 1442 AD, during the first reign of Emperor Yingzong (r. 1435-1449 AD) of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD).
