Figure NAM-can-063. Satan positioned behind the flaming crenellated walls of Hell and accompanied by two dragons: one is small, legless (?) and winged and the other is large quadrupede, squamous (scaly) and wingless; triumphant, gloried Jesus Christ holding the Christian standard with a waving scroll inscribed "Advenisti desiderabilis" and leading Adam an Eve out of Hell. The iconographic tradition is principally based on the apocryphal Gospel of Nicodemus (also known as the Acts of Pilate, 300s AD).
